Solar Energy Mentioned Often in 2011 State of the Union
President Barack Obama delivered his second state of the union speech. Much to the delight of solar energy companies, PV manufacturers, and clean energy advocates, the President gave some strong support to clean technology and specifically solar power - he mentioned energy (renewable or clean) about 8 times and solar 3 times in the speech.
